Once Upon A Time There Was A Story That Wanted to Be Told
Is your story looking for you?
Have you found the voice in which to tell it?
WHAT: An Exuberant Evening with Crescent Dragonwagon
WHERE: the Green Hills Public Library, 3701 Benham Ave, Nashville, TN 3721
WHEN: 6 pm to 7:30 pm, Wednesday, April 12, 2017
For the second winter in a row, Crescent Dragonwagon is in Nashville. The author of fifty traditionally published books (novels, children’s books, culinary memoir/cookbooks, poetry), Dragonwagon frequently works in one of the library’s study rooms when in Nashville.
And for the second time in a row, her thank you is a free talk at the library. “Nashville’s welcome has been warm,” she says, “I don’t just mean the sense of openness, either. “ (She’s now based in Vermont; a state which welcomed April with nine inches of snow).
Her 2017 talk explores humans’ narrative craving: why we tell, read, write, and listen to stories. Filled with stories, Crescent’s talk is entertaining, inspiring, educational, energizing. With elements of her celebrated Fearless Writing™ workshop, this evening may give a chiropractic adjustment to the way you write, read, listen, think.
Upcoming Events with Crescent Dragonwagon:
You’re invited also to Crescent’s Fearless Writing™ in Nashville April 21-23. Patrons of the library event will also receive a special code for $150 off the registration of the Fearless Writing Weekend Event.
